Yamaha XT 1200 Z Super Ténéré

    I think it's a beauty.
I'd like a GSA but I'm really hopping this one will be much cheaper. Hey, I can hope... Some day, some day.

Nice Bike. Looks like a possible solution for someone like myself with less cash. Thats almost exactly what I would like to replace the 954 with.

I was at the office about to go home when I saw it, so I was going to translate it when I got home, but Brent beat me to it.

Looks very nice. If the price is under $14K it could be a huge seller for them.

Tenere looks pretty sweet. I like the skidplate and headlight protectors.

I love the engine on the GS-A, but the cylinders sticking out can occasionally be a bummer. (legal to split lanes out here) I'd have given the Tenere a strong look when I was shopping.

I'll really be looking hard at something in this class as soon as I get back to Idaho. Due to my physical size the physical weight of the bike will be a primary consideration. My test ride on the GSA1200 has definitely ruled it out.

Ever kicked one by accident, like say you were trying to back yourself up a slight incline and your foot slipped? they don't budge, and you definitely know you've kicked it.

Yeah I can imagine lane splitting with the A model with the extra bars is even more enjoyable

To me a parallel twin isn't a very exciting motor, but it probably makes a lot of sense for that type of bike.

And will probably sell as well as 'zook's V-Strom over here. Who are, incidentally, witholding 2010 models from our shores due to stellar dealer inventory.

It's a shame because this looks like a bike that would really interest me - a solid GS alternative with an existing support network.

Exactly…I know at least 3 people waiting for these of which at least 50% would be at the dealer gladly paying MSRP for one.
