1600+cc V4... sounds fun. Looks retro, will likely sell a TON with the people who grew up wanting one now being able to afford one.

Up above they have the option for "pick comparison model." There really isn't any comparison to a V-Max, they are in their own class. If I was buying a "cruiser" that would be it.

Also, I notice that they are also giving "wet" weights in their spec's. Glad to see that the idea is catching on.

Whoa. 1.7L V4... Serious H-O specs too. Oversquare, high-compression, etc. Is this thing gonna be 200hp?

Even a slipper clutch.

Bad-ass, I want one.

The bike Harley should be building.

My thoughts exactly. However, I watched all the videos on the microsite and after looking at it again, and realizing that almost all the new factory exhausts are going to look like that, it became almost tolerable. Besides, the aftermarket will come up with something more aesthetic.

ABS, shaft drive, V-4, slipper clutch, FUNCTIONAL [not cosmetic] air scoops, gear and chain driven cams (?), torque monster...
Sounds like something someone like me living in the land of straight and forever might want! There are only two things that bother me about this bike. Nonrefundable deposit and where do I put another bike in the garage!

Did anyone see one of these at any of the winter motorcycle shows?

Dude, have you been watching the US dollar?

I'd say it's a bargain at 17 grand, especially if they keep the numbers limited.

Ruined. Traction control should be the rider's right hand.

Since it's a production bike that won't be raced by the best racers in the world in a closed environment I think you'll be fine Captain Thick.

The best racers in the World running in a closed environment on PROTOTYPE racing machines develop the technologies that can be bought by Joe Asshole to ride on a public road, Captain Tunnel Vision.

Signed: Captain Tunnel Vision not patiently waiting for a V4 sportbike (a la 212v or GSV-R) or Inline 4 big bang (M1) that is affordable (*cough* d16rr) and forget about F1 not using TC this year or the fact that they are developing TC in WSBK on PRODUCTION based machines

I like the exhaust a lot better than what is on the current 1KRR, ZX-10, or GSX-R 1000. I think it is far better looking than the typical cruiser pipes.

Maxib I easily have room for 5 bikes in my garage and I only have one in there and Iowa is a lot closer than FL.
