So I noticed a post by a certain hippie and ...

Who's first track day was at a MotorcycleAddicts/Fireblades days event?

Mine would have been had I been to one yet.... maybe 2011 is my lucky day.

I don't count going with LTL to Miller only to be snowed out.

It was my first as well if you don't count a 15 minute "Try the Track" program that I did at Mid-America the previous summer.
...dude you ride an offroad bike with slicks, 1/2 the weight of a GS, double the suspension, with a browning 50 cal going off 32" from your skull as a daily freaking driver - I'd expect anything except a nitro dragbike to be bland by comparison - SSG

I had done 4 trackdays before making it to Grattan this year.

I enjoyed my time at Grattan the most, over any other track day.
I also learned the most, and improved my riding the most with the MCADX.

Team Chicago for me, too - in 2000. No snow, but it was chilly for sure.

So I see three and a whole bunch of background noise. I don't include you as part of the background noise Abtech, rather I was curious how many people you helped start on trackdays (with the site(s))

It was my first time out on a track...on Abtech's 929...on slicks...and something other than gas in the tank.

    It was fun.

No, but the first FBO days was my first long term paid vacation, first time pitted in a garage, first time driving east of UT (starting from home)...and first time rebuilding my bike at the track. A couple days later, it was also my first time nearly topping out the 929, after driving around the lake to a Road America track day...

    Yes.
But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government.

Nope but it is definately, the one I remember best from my first season of track. I think that it was my second though.

I have to say I look forward to this event more and more each year.
    See you at GRATTAN
