Yeah, well I would imagine they are doing some thread pruning over there. And they are probably taking a timeout to allow the Bluegrass threads to die down a bit...

Age of bike + rider = 78 !!
Are you saying that they only want the participation of thousands of people if it's an intermediate session at Gingerman?

Ain't that the truth. That's why they no longer get a dime of my money. I really hope they don't eventually drive all others out, as it would spell the end of my trackdays.

Good one, I didn't even notice that. Cool, that sounds like what it really stands for, and sorry he's effectively ended choices out your way.

Bottom line; if no other options are available, even STT can't keep me away from the track, though I would drive an extra 3.876 hours to avoid them. And I wouldn't bring an irreplaceable bike that an outofcontrol rider would put in jeopardy.

No Hammer this year :(
Geesh is it really that bad? How many people is the cut off for each group?

Don't know what the cutoff is, but I do know at one of their track days at Grattan a couple of years ago they had 57 riders on the track at the same time. That may have changed since then...

Hooooly crap. I think the most I've been on the track with is about 20. That's quite a bit. No wonder they have problems..

Anyone try to get a refund yet? I called today.. she said I couldn't do anything over the phone, I had to respond to the email. Come home and pull up the email.. only states the cancelation. WTF? I don't see why they couldn't just send me the credit over the phone. What do you do, email Patty through STT site?

I replied to the email cancellation from Patty. I then got back an email claiming that a credit had been sent to my card. However, it still does not show up on my account, so.....

I will ask them for an actual check. As the credit card I used is no longer in existence. Did anyone ask for their "membership" fees back as well? The only reason I signed up was to do this track, but being as they will not have an event it is useless for me to be a member. Plus i have checked out the forum and have no intent on being part of those assholes.

I asked twice and got no response. They could have at least had the courtesy to say "no".

Credit as in a "STT" credit for another day with them, or a refund?

More dates being cancelled... Sportbike Track Time Forum :: View topic - JUNE 20/21 AND JULY 1 BLUEGRASS AND UPDATES! MUST READ!!!
(Snipped from the thread)
We will be having a "Customer appreciation and Open House" day. This is going to be a weekday BMP open house which provides free track time (everyone will get at least an hour on track) for anyone who was registered for one of these canceled events, and your friends can bring their street bikes and ride some "spectator laps" as well. This is STT and BMP's way of saying thanks for waiting.
