Pueblo Motorsports Park

Anyone run this track before? What is it like?

I ask because I'm thinking of taking Pridmore's STAR School there next month. I asked Jason about it briefly outside of his pits at the WSBK weekend at Miller and had some joking words for it.

Is it a decent facility/track? What's the condition like?

Any info is greatly appreciated!

Haven't ridden it but I did ride past it while I was in Colorado last year.

Looked kinda backwoods. On par with Grattan, Little Talledega or Putnam Park.

Good info. Thanks!

I'm also looking for track condition, safety and general impressions of the track. Basically, so I can determine if its worth the drive down there next month.

At work tomorrow, I'll ask a guy who's here this week from Colorado. He may have ridden it.

You could just take one for the team and tell us about it when you get back.

Was there in June for a track day. It isn't a "polished" place like some of the better known facilities. Track is bumpy in places from the cars. There is a long front straight used for drag racing. Could be wider here and there. There's a nice elevation change or two.

Took the Pridmore school three years ago at a different track (now closed) in Colorado, and Pridmore likes these kinds of tracks... believes they separate the men from the boys. There used to be a video of Jason circling the Pueblo Motorsports Park track. He might have it at his Star Motorcycle Schools site. Net, despite some of its rough edges I think it is a fine place for a racing school, to learn advanced riding techniques.

Here's a map of the place...

And here's an image taken from far away when I was passing through. Will give you a feel for the place...

Another perspective of the place...
