    Love you, V

I'm not much of a talker (on the phone that is LMAO) but texting is lots of fun... I love hearing from my son and friends unexpected... makes me smile... Not that I ever hear from SEAMUS

Whaaaat? And they call themselves a Pirelli distributor? That's a bummer...can you ask Eric if he can order me a set?

    Thanks V!

So I'm here at the AmericInn. This place is 100% better than the 'Stone...never again will I stay there. Just cracking a cold one and waiting to catch the Mid-Ohio Superbike races on a TV that WORKS (and yes, they have SPEED)! Can't wait to get back on the track again...it's been over a year.

A few low-qual pictures from today - Not many since I rode most of the sessions this time.

Truly enjoyed the riding and the conversation - Let's do it again soon.

Great day! Felt good to be back at Grattan again finally. The weather was perfect and the track was in great shape, Apex2Apexz runs a good event, very similar to Trackoholics, but their tech is a little weak. Really enjoyed hanging out in the pits and chasing Shedners1, CBRVFR, and For1only around all day. I was pretty impressed with the Diablo Corsa III's...first time on the track without slicks in a long time. Kept wondering how hard I could push them. I found out that a 1:31 pace was the limit when they started to get greasy.

The last session of the day had a wheelie contest down the straight, with a prize for the best wheelie. A couple of full length wheelies were pretty impressive...but I kept waiting for them to take each other out in the process.

Thanks for the great day guys. I sure am lucky to have guys like you around during a trackday-it really makes the day fun. I just wish the rest of the addicts were there. It was cool to see a lot of ex-trackoholics there too-I gota get those guys on this site to boost our numbers next year. Dont worry I will use a squid filter-although most of those guys I considered squidly before have gotten better.

Great day at the track - good weather, good friends, good times.

I rode the TZ every session but the last one - and now the SV is starting to feel like a truck. My sprocket selection on the smoker was much better today then it was at the addicts days, and I went a lot faster and smoother, I think. I made some passes in 'unusual' places. I'm starting to appreciate the maneuverability. Linus, Pete, Steve, it was a pleasure - and thanks for the push starts!

RedRider and CBRVFR were lapping pretty quickly - I couldn't stay with either of them.

I've always been a picture hog but the pictures taken by heavypennyphoto.com were pretty darn good-I wasnt going to order a CD but I will now. The photographer is a pretty sucessful racer and he so happened to have attended a private trackday flip and I organized a few years back. He gets really good shots from places that most other photographers havent utilized. Red, Shenders, CBRVFR all look really really good in these pics. His pictures even make my slow ass look really fast-

I just now took a peek at the website, you're right, there are quite a few great shots. Glad I ordered a CD.

You, Red, and CBRVFR all look pretty quick. Me? Well, I look very color-coordinated.

It just looks like it-the other two were quick-so were you. I guess he did'nt get a shot of you pulling a Gary Mc coy with a rear wheel sliding

I didn't do much sliding - I was too worried about doing that other G. McCoy trick: The one where he goes flying through the air.

I'm very partial to our in-house professionals, but I have to say Mr Moore shot a couple of nice series of each of us -

For a sound track to that picture, just imagine an unholy marriage between a chainsaw and a router.

we have some great photographers in our ranks-Mr.Moore's experience as a racer at Grattan and his ties with the owner and track workers allow him access to areas which would be considered off limits to most.
