I considered going, but it's a bit steep if you didn't pre-register. I have a lot of stuff to get done before the gap trip, too.

Just made it back from the track. Both of us made it through the day with no issues or crashes. The temps were a bit nippley this morning at 48deg F so wearing underarmor and shorts was a bad idea. But it did warm up a bit as the sun came out making for a nice day. As usual Kenny and Dean with Cycle Options ran a good show. With the cool temps there were more crashes, people do not let their tires warm up and they go down........simple as that. First excursion was a guy pitted across from us, he went down in T3 which is the first lefthander on the track in conjunction with some rippling of the pavement starting to be an issue. He was such an ass back in the pits, yelling, slung his helmet up against the trailer with an array of parts flying. We just looked upon the asshat throwing a fit like a 2 year old child that just got his taken away. The group is usually nice and helpful in these times for riders, but after that, no one even went to see if he needed anything. The track is showing some signs of needing a re-pave. About 5-7 feet out from the apexes there are some decent size ripples from the cars, but as long as you stay either inside the 5 ft zone you are golden. We all had a great time as always.

Sorry I did not make it up but I could not see the late fee on top of all the other $$$. Instead I am wiring some and putting a new grill together Good to here the French one behaved.

Sad that the guy crashes then goes back to the pits and does more damage from the sounds of it. Might have been a blessing he was off track for all the others.

I totally understand, plus we just did one day so the drive would not be worth it to you. There were several crashes today due mainly to cold tires. One was taken to the hospital by the Band Aid Buggy, his leg was bending in a way that is was not supposed to.

Ow!

We had an inch of snow today with another expected for tomorrow. As much as we want to ride, please be careful. Road temps and tire temps are very serious things to consider, particularly for those of us with short riding seasons.
