Something I could snooze in that has A/C in case Mom-O-Sheep wants to come to Barber would be nice.
Thanks for the constructive and honest feedback, a preemptive to others
I'll make you a decent deal on the PitBike if you're interested. It sleeps 4, large main area + master suite, kitchen with nook, 2 TVs, mega AC & Heat, 5KW generator, nice bathroom, low miles, good condition. 425 HP, 5 to 7 MPG depending on terrain. It tows 8K with ease . . .

Now in stereo

Engineers say "Not so fast."

Re: Minimotorhome tow vehicle?
Yeah, how mini are you talking? My 31ft class C hasn't had an issue towing anything I've put behind it, but the heaviest thing would be only about ~4000lbs or so at this point. But it will tow FAR more as you can't even tell there's anything back there, other than the sheer length of it all.
Mileage is 7-10 towing or not, doesn't matter. The wind is a larger factor there.
Horsepower? I don't know. Don't really care. It's whatever the Ford 360 in the E350 chassis puts out.
Really, if you're worried about mileage or horsepower numbers you shouldn't even be thinking about a motorhome.
Those little old Toyota Dolphin things get better mileage, but don't expect it to tow much of anything.

Thanks. I was actually thinking even smaller than that maybe 24' Something similar to this. It would only need to tow the trailer and sleep 2+ Most use would be as a place to sit in cooler area at the track with some overnight usage.
Interesting on mileage though. I would hope for more but the truck only gets 10-12 towing.
Thanks Abtech but that sounds like a LOT more than I was thinking and I am only in the plot phase (not even sure what I want but the truck is going to get replaced) Oh and SOB plotting is VERY slow, not like some that decide to get something and have it in the garage next month.

Where is the DVD for the events?

Sadly there will be no DVD. There was not enough video contributions to crete one. I believe the main reason is with changes in camcorders it is harder for people to run bike cams. Digital cams will be the perfect solution but currently every model I see is lacking in many ways. In addition traditional cams are going away with DVD direct and HD cams replacing them, neither of which is rugged enough to survive. Add in the lack of lanc and AV in on most new cams and

Funny you should say this as I was cutting plastic for the case as you typed. I am hoping to have a VERY rough prototype in at TGP in November to gather data. That way I can create s/w over the winter and have data I can feed it for testing.

There is one of those in the parking lot of my hotel with a car trailer with a ginormous rockcrawling Jeep loaded on it. I'd guess about 7-8k lbs it's pulling.

A bit late, but I just got rid of my 1 ton diesel. I've rolled across the scales with a 235HP 3500 Dodge towing 19,000 lbs. (total weight) And I was pulling through the Penn. state mountains on 80. I've towed more and less. Those things can haul anything you throw at it.
One time at band camp, I towed someone's toy. It was a full mini RV. (tripple axel 40 or 44 ft. trailer) It had a Master suit, 1 set of bunk beds, sink, generator, 2 propane tanks, stereo, all finished inside. Very posh. Some coach builder built it in Middlebury Indiana. Had enough room in the back of the trailer for 2 quads or snowmobiles. Not sure what the cost of that puppy was, but I've also towed more expensive rigs too.
