The fours are pretty robust at 2.7L. They don't get any better mileage than the v6 though.

This is a 10000lb toyhauler I brought to our store yesterday as part of a cross-marketing deal I am working on with a local RV dealer.

The Tundra pulled it like a champ, having no trouble at all maintaining 75mph.

    Pretty good for a half-ton.

wow whats the tag on that bad boy? is it one of them where you have to take the cargo out the back to sleep in it? that is the only thing that turns me off on the toy haulers

I didn't ask the price but I would guess somewhere near 50 grand.

It's actually really cool.. the garage is separated from the living quarters but with a bunkbed over top of it. I'll take some pics of the inside later today.

I'd be careful doing that, the pin weight on that (light) toyhauler is going to be around 1000 lbs. Thats why they make 5th wheels. Notice how the tow vehicle pictured is squatted down by the weight of the trailer. You need the weight transfer to stabilize the TV, but you also need the brakes and suspension on the TV to handle the combined gross load.

i have a f350 with a goose neck already in it that is why i would want the adapter. the adapters are rated from 2k lbs on up to 6k lbs for pin weight and a total weight of 20- 30k lbs. i need to find some people who have use the adapters and see how well they hold up

most of the toy haulers just have one big open area, and in order to sleep in the average toy hauler you have to leave your toys out side. me, i like to leave my stuff locked up and tucked in at night, and that particular trailer according to phobe, you can leave your toys in it because it has a blocked off cargo area
