Xterra Experience?

Sounds like some virtual marketing tool. I'm looking at purchasing an 07 Xterra and have been reading reports and reviews but I wonder if anybody has any practical experience with an Xterra or it's brother-in-platform the Frontier. Seems like a capable off-roader with 5000lb towing capacity but has anybody heard anything fantastically good or bad?

Re: Xterra Experience?

I just traded in my 2001 Frontier Crew Cab 4x4 with 136,000 miles on it for a new 2007 Crew Cab. I love the trucks and would never go back to any of the Ford/Chevy/Dodge brands. I like the Toyotas, too, for that matter but have never owned one.

The new Frontier is far nicer that the first generation. More power, more space, nicer ride.

Re: Xterra Experience?

I have a girlfriend who had an Xterra...She said there were some problems with the door and maybe the sunroof...can't really remember...I actually think that she just didn't like the payment and was complaining so that maybe they would take it back or something...She claimed she got a lemon, but I don't think that there was anything mechanically wrong with it....I've always thought they were pretty cool vehicles...

Re: Xterra Experience?

I had a friend that had one. He and his wife really liked it, but they are too practical to keep it due to the mpg.
