Pulled the trigger
After a LONG period of thinking I have decided that the honda would be the best fit to me.
So tuesday night I picked up a 2007 Ridgeline EX-L with a sunroof. What a beautiful truck. And while I may not be able to cut donuts on camera I felt confident driving home with the sun roof open and the rear power slider open and the breeze blowing through that I had made the right choice... It would is not a heavy duty work truck, but I don't need one of those, it fits the bill with just about everything that I need to do. And it does it all VERY well Anyways I grabbed the camera for 2 minutes and got a couple of pretty crappy shots of the new truck... It was driven home in the rain and needs to be washed(sometime) but this is how it looks... I'll try and get some more tomorrow if I am not out riding the bike... Yes she's finally back together(for now anyways) Hoping to get out for a good tour tomorrow... anyways, here's the truck. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y29...9/DSCF0866.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y29...9/DSCF0864.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y29...9/DSCF0865.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y29...9/DSCF0861.jpg Like I said REALLY crappy pics but you all get the idea... I love the truck so far and really have had no issues with it, mind you I do only have 500 kms on it... Goes in for "limo" tint and 3m clear stone gaurd on monday. after that who knows, I was thinking paint the calipers red and then likely just drive it for a while... No dubs...yet. ![]() Thanks to all that helped me make up my mind and offered me links, opinions and PMs with assistance

Re: Pulled the trigger
Whiiiite? Waaaah. Spray it down with some flat black grill paint, be the first guy to intentionally Mad-Maximize a Ridgeline.
But seriously, good choice. That thing is growing on me.

Wow, now I'm definitely interested in carpooling to Grattan
Nice truck! If I'd get me a new truck tomorrow I'd have a hard time decide between the Ridgeline and the Frontier. |

Re: Pulled the trigger
Thanks guys, I really LOVE this truck.
The best thing about it is there is enough room for 2 bikes in the back and all the riders gear without having to hook on to a trailer. I really don't know if it would look right mad maximized

Re: Pulled the trigger
There are rumors of a diesel coming out as soon as 09. That would be cool.
I don't know why they didn't make it a hybrid to start with? There is a LOT of room under the hood.

I'm dreaming of a mid-size diesel pick-up. I hope they'll do it. There is some nice one in Europe. The Mitsubishi L200 is pretty cool. |

Re: Pulled the trigger
That would be a nice truck to have. I don't know when the manufacturers are going to realize that there is a market for a medium duty "efficient" deisel?
Now about that car pool

Re: Pulled the trigger
hell if they put a small diesel in the Tacoma I would have seriously considered that even for the extra coin it would have cost.
congrats on the new truck. now go beat the hell out of it.

Re: Pulled the trigger
I seem to have a growing urge to drive it over curbs and onto peoples lawns? I am really hoping that this will pass... On a good note though I used it to take some stuff to the dump, move some banquet tables and a whole whack of chairs... would have been a pretty boring saturday if I was driving the lincoln.

Re: Pulled the trigger
One thing I greatly disliked about having the Sierra Denali. It seems a weekend didn't go by that someone wasn't asking to borrow it to move or haul something.
