diesel is already very close to $4. either way the price of the fuel doesn't matter when whatever you're pulling has to get wherever its going. so it'd be nice to get as much mileage as possible when doing it. tractor trailers get 6-7mpg, you gonna complain thats not good enough and we shouldn't run them?

Nope, if you got a job to do there is nothing that can be done about it. If there isn't a need for it then good luck paying for it. There is a reason why fuel efficient diesel automobiles sell so well in Europe.

I am concerned what $4 a gallon is going to do to the economy. I just picked up my groceries and many of the items have already gone up. Everything we buy (most of us) is trucked in and those costs will be passed on. Bumpy times ahead. ............

One of those reasons being that diesel fuel is much easier to acquire "under the table".

it almost has to go over 5/gallon for the US to have an NRG policy. Not much talk about that from the campaigners

sweet... if you get down here we might have to trow it on my buddies dyno and see if it can de-throne the ford thats on there for the most torque, youre pretty close to the same numbers, what kinda dyno did they test it on?
