March 07 in the south

This March has been some amazing weather. I already have put 1000 miles on the CBR1000RR touring machine this year.

Here is some pics from the last two weekends. The pictures are from Sewannee TN and Fall Creek Falls State Park. The first ride was the length of TN 30 from to Athens to McMinnville. The second was up to Sewannee (a civil war era college with great architecture) on to Altamont then down Beersheeba Springs up toward McMinnville then across to Fall Creek Falls State Park. Down through the park to Gruetli Laager back to Altamont. Down into Pelham and over to Lynchburg.

Nice pics. I can't wait to get somewhere where the roads are actually worth riding.

They seemed kind of straight on the side he is on mostly just winding. No switchbacks in the area I saw.

I have to drive almost as far as you do to get to the good ones. My side of Kentucky is mostly flat and straight unfortunately. Central and Eastern Kentucky are where it's at.
