North Middle Tennessee

I decided to expand my area and started searching for new roads. I found TN52 and TN53 which looked interesting and plotted a route.

I headed north on US231 which was basically just slabbing for 99% (there some rolling stuff) then onto I24 up to TN840 then I40. Now I was where I wanted to be I got off of I40 onto TN52 then detoured onto TN135 (planned detour) That led to TN53 then back to TN52. I stayed on TN52 all the way to US27. US27 will go all the way to Chattanooga but I wanted to detour up the Cumberland Plateau and down Signal Mountain. So when I got to TN30 I turned west then got on US127 which runs through a valley then down Signal Mountain. Then back up I24 to US72 and home. About 450ish miles.

I was hoping for something a bit more aggressive than what I found but it was still decent. The whole route was sweepers and great scenery. Worth the trip and a decent route but not really twisty (it would be fine on a Cruiser and Sport Tourer also)

The best section was just beyond a Church I had to stop and get pictures of (and make a donation). The church is on one side the 'facilities' on the other. Notice there is lights. Not sure the idea behind the one device.... Then there was a fun stretch that I ran up and down then up. At the top there was a cool pull off, very unique.

Then what is a sheep tour without a gratuitous sheep picture.

Then to tin foil or not.... think Elvis was inside.

Oh and I figured out why the GPS was acting bad the other day... The antenna connection is wacked and it keeps losing satellites now. Time for a new one.

Sheep, you're going to convince me that I need to move to Alabama if you keep these rides up. I'm so bored with Iowa these days. I never have time to do a decent ride anyway though so I just live vicariously through you. Someday maybe I'll be able to manage a trip down there so you can take me on a guided tour.

You did see our version of facilities

Oh and I stopped to get a Diet Dew and this car pulls up from Connecticut out steps a DEFINITE ewe of blue candidate. I was kind of puzzled by her outfit though. She had some Athena type gold sandals on (think cords up her calfs in a mesh) with a short black skirt and a hoodie... but it was 80º+ so I wonder what was under the hoodie Oh and Mom was hot also
