I'm in love...

While at the dealership yesterday, I fell hard for one of these badboys.

Anybody wanna buy a nice DR-Z400SM?

That is definitely a very purdy bike. Unfortunately not in the budget for this year

If you still have the DRZ-SM by Grattan time, we might need to talk

I think Pahrump is the perfect place to try that bike out. You should buy it before Feb, so that I can make sure that it is tip-top for you.

Make sure you buy it in time for Grattan. You should have no problem finding a home for the Doctor Z.

I love spending your money.

Re: I'm in love...

I'm a bit glad Matt grabbed the one that came into his shop so I wouldn't have to think about it.
For a long time it was a bike that I wanted, before Aprilia even decided they would make it and market it. But now that I've lost any and all desire to street ride, I feel less inclined to grab one.
He has done his up soooooo nicely, too.
Then again, if I went into the shop and there was one sitting around begging for a home I would be sorely tempted.

I think the 5.5 would be the way to go. A bit more grunt and not as peaky.

... but I have nothing against peaks.

I'm thinking I'd let it go for $4,500. It's a 2005 with an FMF exhaust, sliders, handguards, 3x3 mod, and the best mod of all - a Keihin FCR MX carb (which are hard to find, and over $500 each). Only a little over 2,000 miles on it, in great shape except for some minor scuffage on the plastics, and a slightly tweaked subframe from my half-endo. It's a sweet bike, for sure.

'Whip will end up buying it regardless. The dude is overflowing with cash and has an addiction to buying multiple bikes.
There is no known cure for that guy.

Fixed it for you.
