Methinks that be a chop. Any pictures of it at this point would probably be camera phone spy shots, not leaked ad/brochure stock like that. Probably not far off though.

I hope they take the opportunity to do something else with that seat cowl.. It hurts my brain.

They could put nostrils on it, and perhaps a moustache at the back of the seat and some black rimmed glasses at the rear. It wouldn't make it any faster but it'd sure be comical.

Yeah - I'm 99.9% sure it's a photochop, but I still like it.

Looks like the busa of old but as if Suzuki couldn't make a uglier pipe than the 1 on the 1k they make it longer and fit it on this beast..

Not bad, unfortunately, I don't think that I would be able to convince the G/F that this is a "comfy sports tourer"

Not bad though, I didn't mind the tail when it matched the rest of the bike but if you are going to redo the whole thing and not change that very much IMO you may want to reconsider?

Actually, the current gen 'Busa is very comfortable. It rides like a Cadillac.

Yeah, I had a chance to ride a copper 99 for around 100kms and I loved it I just don't think that I could live with the 4000KM tire change intervals...

Plus I WOULD be non insurable in about 3 weeks...

I am affraid that an ST1300 or even goldwing will be the next non-sportbike ride in my garage.

Avons are known to help with the tire change, and you'll get that from any bike putting out really good torque numbers - even on my Bandit12.

but-

Sit on the Kawi 14 and see if it doesn't speak to you more than an ST...

OK...how about hideous? Offensive? Awful?

I like the Bus, but they are terribly ugly.

You sound like the "Lightning McQueen" cartoon!!!

On the contrary rev.... the vehicle picture below is a machine with ergos and engineering specifically for speed.

You must be sniffing too much NOS when you clear those lines.... The Busa is just an ugly bike.

Dont feel bad though... the ZX14 is just as bad.

Re: 2008 Suzuki Hayabusa

I'll take an ugly busa ahead of a hideous ZX14...

I just cannot warm up to anything that kawi is making right now... even the 10R

I'll find something, I like the gold wing Idea as I could put a track bike on a trailer behind it...

Time will tell I guess...

There was a guy a few years ago who brought a Goldwing to a NESBA event at Putnam. He wasn't the slowest one out there, either.

Re: 2008 Suzuki Hayabusa

To ride a Bus or ride a Kaw. Both sound very unattractive to me! I have never gotten into the buzz with the Busa or ZX-14. I've had the opportunity to ride both, but neither corners, which is what I want. Plus I would get in WAY too much trouble with either of those. Squids in town would be getting eaten up all day long from light to light. I'll stick with my "old fart" VFR! That's what my son now calls it. He's too funny!

I'd take a flickable 600 over a huge busa or zx-14 anyday. they may not be the fastest bikes out there, but they're plenty fast enough to get me in trouble in a hurry. plus are just a fun ride
