How not to learn how to ride a motorcycle...

This is why I always recommend the sv as a beginner bike...

The guy is an idiot...but I just hate seeing a nice new bike go through that.

Re: Suzuki SV-650 as a beginner bike...

Yeah, but without idiots like that, how do people like me get salvage title SV track bikes for next to nothing?

Besides which, if that had been a big GSXR, they'd still be picking bone fragments out of the tree. Or tree fragments out of his bones. Or something.

I can't see most videos at work, but is this the one where the guy (with no gear on) runs his shiny red 650 across the street and into the tree?

...and yet people think starting on a 500cc bike or smaller will be "too small"

A smaller bike would have just have allowed him to crash slower...idiots seem to find accidents no matter what you do.

Re: Suzuki SV-650 as a beginner bike...

In this guy's case, that's probably very true.

Re: Suzuki SV-650 as a beginner bike...

I just don't get how someone can get on a bike and actually TURN it on and try to drive when they go and do this shit. A guy of that skill level should start on a go-kart and not even be allowed to sit on a bike, much less try to ride it.

Actually he should start small...look at a few pictures...then look at the bike...and then actually see someone ride it...then sit down and take a break...it might be too much for his brain to comprehend.
