New Toy

I just purchased a Hayabusa. It's not new, but with the deal I got I eally couldn't pass it up.

This is exactly what the bike looks like.

Re: New Toy

Cool - why don't you keep a record of all the mods you're going to do and post them?

Re: New Toy

For a while the only mods I'll be doing are "NONE" This thing is among one of the greatest bikes I have ever owned. It's smooth and extremely agile for a bike it's size. The power is absolultely scary for a stock motorcycle. I knew that before I ever took it home, but for some reason I'm still amazed.

I've only had about 2 1\2 minutes of seat time so far so I need to do some serious riding.

The sad part of all this is that my CBR900RR sold. I was really hoping it wouldn't. I offered it up to a woman and she jumped on it.

You'll be keeping it stock as a streetbike? No secret NOS compartments? Decked heads? Airshifter?

WHo are you and what are you doing on Revvv's computer?

Yeah, I know. It doesn't sound right, but for a while I'm not even putting a PC on it.

I have a Two Brothers 4-2-1 exhaust, but I really like that stock rumble.

I am looking for a carbon fiber front fender and a double bubble windscreen.

As for secret NOS - I'll never tell.

Re: New Toy

Awesome bike!

Ditching the dual pipes (no matter who makes them) will net you at least 7 hp. Airbox mod and a good map are all you need after that. That got me to 164 hp and 96 ftlbs - that's without N20 of course.

I'm selling my Muzzy carbon full system - moving to a Brocks sidewinder.

So true.

I couldn't even make a decent comment back.
