Back protector for "taller" folks?
Just wondering, what brand (and size) back protector are the "taller" folks wearing? I'm 6'3" and I find my Forcefield Protector to be a tad bit short; even in the large size.
Thoughts? |

Seamus wears a tread from an M1 Abrams if that helps...

check out the Spidi stuff. I love my Back Warrior. comes in multiple sizes, they say up to 6'5". They also have a new back protector/chest protector in one, its basically a back warrior with a chest protector attached.

Re: Back protector for "taller" folks?
I've got one of these: Alpinestars Tech Back Protector - Motorcycle Superstore, that offers great protection for us tall guys.
I used it less than a season, and I'd sell it to you for $65.00 delivered if you're interested.

Re: Back protector for "taller" folks?
Go custom if you can afford it. I have one and I really like it. You have to get someone to take measurements and then it takes him about a month to make it and ship. He puts your name on it, or "bwhip", etc. I got the chest protector with it as well, they velcro together. Nicky uses it, Colin, Corser, and some other riders. I'm 6'2" and my height is the reason I went custom, just like my 'Stitch. Just need to get around to getting custom leathers made.

Re: Back protector for "taller" folks?
Yeah, but that's too short too. And light. Not very confidence inspiring.
I have a Bohn that'll be going up for sale when I get back home if you like. Fits me fine (6'4") but I picked up the A* Bionic SP vest when Cal-Sportbike had their MCADX deal and I think it's the shizz.
