Yeah, I stopped wearing it because the fit was incorrect. But it wasn't flip-floppy bouncing around or anything crazy like that. The fit seemed fine when I rode my cruisers, but the switch to sportbikes made me learn it was too big. Anyway, I just noticed a great deal of airflow coming from the top vents streaming air downward past the face. (A purposeful design by Shoei on this model). And that flow was much much more than my old Arai Quantum 2. So I never got used to it honestly. My RF-1000 seems to have much less airflow than the X-11, which for my eyes is a good thing; they seem to tear up very easily.

Sweet, nothing like a quality product backed by a quality company.

I found the same to be true with the ventilation on the X-11. The helmet passes a lot of air through and on colder days it's just uncomfortable. I found that if I put some black electrical tape over the front vents it makes it wearable on those cold riding days.

Sounds like the X-11 is a good set up for down here.
