The knikers under your leathers??

I am the proud owner of a "Z" leather suit with moderate ventalation. I wear An A* back protector, Sidi corsa boots, sidi socks, and kushittami gloves.

now under all this i wear under armer spandex type stuff gear. I have noticed that i sweet allot and my stuff gets rather moist. now riding a full day how do youz guyz keep it dry? oh and in place? jock stap? underwear? what the hell does mandigo do when he rides all day in 98 to 103 weather?

Should i mention i ummm keep it all neat.

This is gonna hurt i can tell.

Re: The knikers under your leathers??

Only hurts if you.... Wax!

I wear compression gear (singlet/T-shirt and shorts in summer or long sleaves & legs in winter) easy to wash and quick to dry.

Cheers, G

If you are worried about your stuff getting moist, you might want to try baby powder.

With unventilated Spidi's, I just use boxers and t-shirt. When I'm done for the day, just hang it out to dry

Oh, as for the "junk", a shower takes care of that too.

Re: The knikers under your leathers??

I've tried a few brands.

And as much as I hate to say it since it costs so damn much, Under Armor's hot weather stuff, whatever it is called, is notably better than Hind or Nike ACG.

Long top and bottom is best, unless you keep Jason around, then short sleeves works too.

I'll endorse Under Armor. You can even get your leathers off with 4 broken vertebrae!

The leathers come off just as easy with the other brands, but I stayed noticably cooler in the Under Armor.

I tried one of the shitty knock-off underarmor shirts from Wally World and it took me about 5 minutes to decide never to wear it again... I'll stick with my overpriced UnderArmor.

I was surprised it was better than even Nike.

I paid full pop for a set of UA at Cabelas on the way over, ~$80 OTD IIRC! Sheeze that's a lot for underwear.

Long sleeve underarmour (think it is Turf Gear ) with a tshirt. The shorts and normal underwear. Sweat is no big deal but the guys would complain about compression stuff

It doubles as superhero garb, if that helps you justify the cost.

After pricing it at Cabela's, I went to the Big 5 down the road and got it for nearly half the price on the same UA stuff.

Re: The knikers under your leathers??

Yeah, Cabelas didn't really seem cheap on anything. But Big 5 has it on sale at times.

I checked my local one yesterday and they were MSRP like Cabelas.

I'm pretty sure I caught them at the right time. It was end of summer last year and Big 5 had them on a clearance rack. I settled for a second choice in color for the big price break.
Cabela's just doesn't do that stuff very often. When you take a look at just how many people walk through those doors every single day it's easy to understand why.
Still amazes me to run over there and see how crowded it is, and is so every day of the week.

Re: The knikers under your leathers??

Big 5 is like that for everything.

I tried to make it in to the Cabelas in Lehi, but somehow missed the turnoff.

I spent the night in the parking lot of their world headquarters, Sidney, Nebraska, in the middle of exactly fuck all, and the place was packed within minutes of opening.

I actually hit the one in Omaha coming and going. They have nice clean restrooms, good trailer parking, it's a fun store to walk around if you're dead tired, and their price on beef jerky isn't bad.
