What a nice, high-quality helmet and I really liked the graphics. It's been quite a while since I've been that impressed by a helmet. Online pics really don't do it justice. Too bad they were asking 8 large for it. I'm all for supporting the local shop but they've got to be somewhat competitive. At that price, it just feels like gouging.
I haven't been that impressed with any of the graphics the last few years but some of the simpler ones like this are nice.

I just got a rough estimate on how much to paint my helmet like I want, couple of old Honda wings with simple 3 color flags in them and 2 cancer ribbons. $600-800, no way. I'll leave it plain white for that color and maybe slap on a couple of Red Sox stickers like I did with my last helmet.

Nice - and sounds very advanced structurally.

    Guys,
I'm sort of an old fart and remember well when the then American made Bell helmets had an ad campaign that went "if you got a $10.00 head wear a $10.. helmet".......Mine at the time was a Bell M-2 then had a .080 thick shield that was darn near fog proof and had decent clarity.....
If you liked that high dollar Corsair of Nicky's the new RXQ has a model the Urban that is close at about $600......I'm giving some thought of one of the closeout Quantum's with the "Jolly Roger " on it.....

Hmmm "RX7". Will it be a Corsair, or are they changing the name again? Looks kinda like the new Corsair V, I'm a Nicky fan, I'd love to get one, but I've got a few years left on my Edwards. I'm sure they'll have something else I'll like in a couple of years!

Huh, I usually like Nicky's helmets (last years was a bit much with the caricature of Nicky on the back), but this one is oddly TOO plain imho. Meh, I'll reserve judgment until I see one in person. Sometimes the pictures don't do a helmet justice.

Pretty much my thoughts. My favorite has to be either his Laguna scheme that was sold as a rep for some time or this past year's 4th of July rendition.
Today's public figures can no longer write their own speeches or books, and there is some evidence that they can't read them either.

    Ditto.
...dude you ride an offroad bike with slicks, 1/2 the weight of a GS, double the suspension, with a browning 50 cal going off 32" from your skull as a daily freaking driver - I'd expect anything except a nitro dragbike to be bland by comparison - SSG

I loved my Nicky Laguna rep! Unfortunately, I had a little mishap and didn't get to use it for 5 years. I have the matching baseball cap, however!

Yeah, when I first saw this story I forwarded it to my helmet painter buddy Tyler, who did the work on my custom helmet a couple of years ago. The subject line in my e-mail was "BO-RING!!"

I told him I thought Nicky should have had something more like mine if he wanted Italian flag colors in there for his Ducati...
