Any Experience With Shift Leathers?

So I've come to the conclusion it's time for me to get rid of the textile jacket and make a move to a leather one. I was in my local stealership the other day and cam accross a Shift Superstreet jacket. I tried it on and it fit well and looked pretty good. Anybody have any expereience with this jacket or any Shift leather products?

I haven't had any experiance with them, how much are they if you don't mind? depending on price you may be able to get something "better" out of the states... have fun finding really "good" stuff up here without paying a LOT for it.

I am getting a one peice spidi in the next week or so for cheap. Under half of what you can get them for up here.

Maybe check with one of the sponsors just for "fun" and compare prices?

Fyi Two wheel in Guelph normally has a pretty good bunch of stuff to get sizing from. Prices are a little high but, at least they have some decent stuff.

They are made by Fox whose quality is excellant. The leathers look decently made though they could use more rolled seams than they do. Quality of the leather is good though and Fox is a top rate company. Some of the retro stuff should go over huge and the cruiser market might wear it at a huge step up in safety from the stuff most wear now.

Re: Any Experience With Shift Leathers?

My only experience led me to buy AGV this round. The fit was great on their product. The quality was a little off though. The zippers do not hold up at all. The leather I had started losingteeth at the bottom while I was at a race. That caused a hazard that made me opt out of the race. (I always carry 2 jackets, pants, pair of gloves, helmet, etc with me to the track now) The jacket was still under warranty. Instead of Shift repairing the zipper and getting the jacket back to me they destroyed the jacket. I didn't even get an offer to have a new jacket. I was simply told to seek a refund from the distributor I purchased the jacket from.
