    One Piece Full Suit

I want to purchase a one peice suit for track riding next year and I need something that while has great protection is also affordable and comfortable. Also I want to pick something that a few people in MC club can afford (so we can be uniform on the track) so a custom suit is most likely out of the question. Any suggestions?

Depending on your size, here's one.

Abtech's is a good one if it's close.

Affordable is a relative term...but I'd say challenge your assumptions on custom if you've never actually got pricing from a couple.

I am 6'-1" about 215 lean mass, so I suspect it would be a little snug...plus I wanted black and silver or something like that.

If you look on 1000rr.net, there is a special from a vendor on Arlen Ness suits. They have Kangaroo, cowhide, perfed, and non-perfed. I think the perfed cowhide was $750 and it looked pretty good to me.

I have seen pricing ranging from $900 to $3000 for custom suits.

I picked up a really nice Spidi suit on ebay for $400. Looks brand new and fits great. I'm 6'2" 205 and it is a size 46/56.

46/56??? Isnt that a large spread in regards to size?

Less than $1000. Preferably in the $400-$750 range. The suit that Jetdude suggests looks nice...and I would pay $1000 for it. I hear Kangaroo has the best abrasion resistance, so I am definately interested in that.

Contact Barnacle Bill. He might be close to that and if you can order multiple with the same design.....

Stay away from the MOTO GP brand of roo skins. They will rip apart at the seams, especially at the hump.

I have a Komodo and like it well. Good armor and padding, have not crash tested yet.

I have this one. I paid 300 on closeout. Its tecnic chicane. I'm cheap, but this suit is a 600 dollar suit, and I'd buy another. I've seen several at the track with it, so it seems to be popular.

I paid $580 shipped for an Alpine Stars CR1 race suit. It has a small speed hump and fits well. I'm 6 foot ~250lbs and a 50/60 fit me very snugg and as I loose more weight it will have room for armor. Length wise, it fit me ankles to wrists. I have no complaints on this suit. My only other experience wit 1 piece suits is my SCCA legal race suit.

Saw a couple of these in person and would definitely buy one if I was in the market. They have black and silver. I also love my Astars suit and there are a few that come in under the $1K mark.
...dude you ride an offroad bike with slicks, 1/2 the weight of a GS, double the suspension, with a browning 50 cal going off 32" from your skull as a daily freaking driver - I'd expect anything except a nitro dragbike to be bland by comparison - SSG

Just a thought also Smooth... Different suits fit different body types. So if you are looking to semi-match a stocky guy is less likely to fit the same suit as a twig.
