Too bad. I have yet to find a better fitting helmet than a Spec 1R.

Bummer, but interesting. Since I was too lazy to read between the lines; does this mean that the helmets will still be available, but now just through an importer or the like? And what is this going to do for price and availability?

As the US Dollar falls they will likely get more expensive, but I do not see a big difference between a Distributor and an Importer. Expect for Delivery time, plus most retailers will only keep on size of each model on hand.

On a side note, it was wierd how the Scorpion supplier had a display at the Miller WSBK event but did not sell or take orders

I noticed that as well. Maybe it was a third party promotional group that was just whoring out their stuff as part of a media campaign.

And if you were at Miller, I may have bumped into you - literally!

they already have gone up. I bought an Extreme just before Grattan last year for $650, now they are going for $700. price was the biggest reason I went with the Scorpion over another Suomy after my crash. But I did love the Suomy, my head stayed a lot cooler at Grattan last year than this year and it was significantly hotter then.
