Leather cleaning

Not sure What everyone does, but i follow the Z leather instructions. It's basically to use Lexol. You buy two bottles cleaner and conditioner. I use a soft nylon brush to scrub the leather. Then wipe it down with a damp cloth. Then apply the conditioner.

I do the boots, but not the gloves they don't seem to take to well to the lexol. gotta ask kushitani what to do.

Just my .

I've just been using a very lightly damp clean rag on my white A-stars and it seems to be cleaning them up just fine.

I am happiest not cleaning my leathers. I think I buy a barely used set of leathers about every two years.

I clean mine at the end of each season with a bit of saddle soap and water, and then put on a leather conditioner such as Lexol. I use it sparingly, as I'd heard too much on the stitching isn't good. I don't know if today's stitching is different, but even when cleaning horse tack, it wasn't good to soak the stitching with it.
