My New Helmet - Incredible

I bought a new Shoei X-11 recently, and thought about going with their new Tamada design, but instead bought a white one to get it custom painted. I'd seen kind of a cool Italian Flag design patterned after an Arai that I liked as the starting point. I've got a buddy who has a helmet painting business (http://www.censportgfx.com/) that has painted my bodywork for me, and done a great job. I gave him an idea of what I was looking for, and then he went to work.

All I can say is HOLY CRAP he did a nice job! It's way better than I imagined. I think I need to just put it on display - it's too nice to use! Really great quality work. It'll go really well with my red/white/black/silver checkered flag leathers. He does lots of car driver helmets, and has produced some incredible stuff.

Thanks Tyler!

Very nice. Guess you're done with Hondas now, for sure.

I'm fairly certain that at some point I've mentioned the fact that I don't like you, right?

Yeah, that's my favorite part. I wish I had thought of that first. I used to valet at a restaraunt called "Veni, Vidi, Vici"

Sorry, I figured out a few years ago that I have a Shoei head and not an Arai head (although I've since heard that Arai makes different shapes).

I have a Shoei head but the new Arai Vector (or something like that) seems to be a similar shape. I like the visor locking mechanism on the Shoei's a lot more though.

Dammmmmm!!! that looks noice. Of course you know all that bling doesn't make you any faster. But you will definitely have the intimidation factor in the paddock cinched. <did you see that guy with the Ducatis and custom painted helmet? Yeah he’s got some sweet setup, he must be fast, see he even has white plates.>

Hey Whip...I found some pics of you at a recent trackday in Nevada on the Duc on a photo forum. The photog was impressed with your riding. I told him I taught you everything you know and that we were best buds.
