FS: 1995 Ducati 900 SS SP

The bike I never thought I'd sell:

For sale is a 1995 Ducati 900 SS SP. The bike has ~26,000 miles. I purchased it in 1997 with 600 miles. All services performed, garage kept. A few minor scratches, consistent with a 12 year old bike that’s been ridden. Perfect mechanical condition.
    The extras:
Arrow high mount carbon fiber slip on exhaust (stock included)
    Hyperpro steering damper
Fren Tubo Kevlar brake and clutch lines
    Yoyodyne slave cylinder
Ducati adjustable brake and clutch levers (stock ones included)
Cyclecat pressure plate, stainless springs, and open clutch cover (stock carbon fiber clutch cover included)
Cyclecat sprocket cover (stock gray plastic cover included)
    Sargent seat (stock seat included)
    Ken Sean mirrors (originals included)
39 tooth rear sprocket, DID x-ring chain (replaced at 19,700 miles, lots of miles left)
    Progrip gel grips
Carbon fiber wrap around dash cover
    FBF sidestand bolt (defeats auto-retract)
Factory service manual, Haynes service manual, RKA sport saddle bags

Fully serviced in December, prior to this season, at 25,800 miles. Service performed:
6000 mile service (all fluids changed, valves adjusted, air filter replaced, spark plugs replaced, fuel filter replaced, fuel pump screen replaced, carbs flushed and synched, oil & filter change, clutch push rod lubed and seals replaced)
    Timing belts replaced
Clutch replaced (Barnett Clutch pack and clutch basket, aluminum with steel inserts)
Hein joints on rear brake arm replaced
    New tires (Metzeler M3 Sportech)
    New battery

Bike is in perfect running condition and ready to go! It needs nothing until the next 6000 mile service is due.

I love the bike, it's just time to move on.

"Move on" to a 600cc track bike?

That thing is gorgeous and obviously well-cared for, but I understand why you'd want to move it along. So many bikes, so little garage space. And the road gets more dangerous with each cell phone call.

That's certainly a part of the decision, I'd like to do that if possible. Also, in the past 4 years, I've only put 3000 miles on it. And, regardless of miles, the timing belts need replacement every 2 years. It's more cost effective to use the 929 on the street. Plus, there's HG's VFR I can use, too.

Sold. As Abtech aptly put it, the end of an era. The bike went to her new home this past weekend.
