Pit Bull rear for Pit Bull single sided swingarm

I have a regular Pit Bull rear stand I'd like to trade for a Pit Bull single sided swingarm stand.

    Anyone?

You will need the correct axle insert. They aren't all the same (but can be sourced from PitBull).

Can the center stand be used in conjunction with a front stand?

Your radiator is in the wrong spot and you're missing half the swing arm.

I guess the intensity of my search just decreased but if someone out there has one they'd like to ditch, get in touch and let's talk.

Whoa. I'm not sure I'd personally try that. Is it really stable? It looks like it's gonna fall over...

Meh, it's solid...between my bike and others, I've probably done this a dozen times. It's way better than the center stand/wooden block under the headers system that I used to use...

Z, if the rafters in your garage are exposed, they're well suited for ratchet straps or a come-along to back up any methods of standing the bike up that you're not comfortable with. Baketech apparently didn't want to wreck the aesthetics of the Michelangelo painting he has on the ceiling of his GarageMahal.

I used to use the rafters and some tie downs in Garage ten to adjust the rear shock on my VFR. Setting the preload was always a bitch. Swapped engines a few times with the same technique.

Well, I'll have to try it, then. I wanted to avoid purchasing a stand, because it's got it's own. I'd been taking wheels off one at a time. The front I did my weighing down the rear to keep it tipped back on the rear wheel...

I've done the rafters method before but they don't have much bling value. I've got 3 rear stands and only one bike I can use them on. If I can convert another to something I can use, I wouldn't mind doing so.

There was a bike with the smallest chicken strips and it wasn't a VFR
There was a bike with an ancient tire that looked new and it was a VFR

Oh and if you checked closer the sides didn't look that new nor does the front (also at the wear bars) Most of the wear on the center was heading to Texas so I now have 26 states....how many does you VFR have again

Ymmv depending upon which front stand you have of course...but with mine, the trick is to remove the rear tire first. Then put the front stand into place. It may help your nerves to have someone "spot" the rear of the bike while you do this, but with my stand it's rock steady...

If you are going to do other maintenance on the bike, it doesn't hurt to set a block of wood or something under the swingarm hub. It's just piece of mind in case you are really cranking on something...

    Be careful out there...
