I'm picking up a new machine for the mrs tomorrow, so it's truly time to make some room.
I've lost count of how many times I've put the Viffer up for sale and changed my mind, but it's REALLY on the block this time. The VTX is going too, but it will probably have to wait until spring. If you're looking for an 1800, let me know and I'll send the details or you can search my earlier post. It's LOADED.
If you're looking for an older gen VFR, this one really is a rare find. Recent pics attached. Happy to take more if you want them. The bike is stock except for regulator, rectifier, and tires. 9,5xx miles. I also have the Clymer service manual...will throw it in the deal.
$3600 takes her home. I have it on CL for more, but would LOVE it if someone here picked her up and took care of her.
If you think that loud pipes save lives, imagine what learning to really ride that thing could do.

must..... resist.....
That thing looks sweet. Good luck with the sale.
If I had a place to park it I'd be all over it. Until then, I'll have to keep lying to myself.

If you buy it and keep the insurance on it, I'll park it here for free until you find a place.
You NEED another bike.

NC I thinks ... maybe near Raleigh? So it would make a very nice fall ride back to TX for you.
Beautiful bike ... would you take an RC51 in trade?
Sorry. Yes, in Delaware.
No thanks to the RC. I've got one.
I actually prefer riding the VFR, but the soul of the RC still has me hooked. I'm considering putting both up for sale and keeping whichever one is left.

Didn't you do that (at least) once already?
I'm with you on the rest of it. I still can't find anything to beat that generation (intentionally nonspecific) VFR. Best of luck with the sale.
Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.

Delawarians seem to think that 4-wheel drive somehow also means increased stopping and steering ability on ice and snow.
We gots some of those folks round here too. When I had my Pathfinder, I would turn on my 4wd simply to avoid being rear ended by the other a$$hole drivers who dont know how to stop in the snow.
