Apparently, the tire companies are making track day tires and branding them w/ the race tire model names and tread patterns. I think this is very deceiving and potentially dangerous to someone like myself who is expecting a race compound but that's another thread. I unknowingly bought one of these. You can tell b/c there is no compound markings.
This is the track day compound not a race tire, but looks like a new Pilot One.
It's brand new, never even mounted, and would serve anyone for the upcoming Grattan days very well.
$150 shipped.
There's a point where the increased ability to take risk is not because of increased testicular mass but rather decreased cerebral mass. - Slickwill
Aren't they called the "Power One" not "Pilot One" or is this something different?
...dude you ride an offroad bike with slicks, 1/2 the weight of a GS, double the suspension, with a browning 50 cal going off 32" from your skull as a daily freaking driver - I'd expect anything except a nitro dragbike to be bland by comparison - SSG

Just checked the sticker (which is still on the tire) and you're right. it's Power One. But like I said, it only LOOKS like the race tire. It's a track day compound according to my tire rep.
