1994/97/98 900RR
For sale
1998/1997/1994 CBR 900RR First let me explain the year(s) of the bike. It started out as a 97 but the previous owner wanted a polished frame so he bought a 94 frame (exact same as the 97) and polished it then swapped them. After he had that done he gave it a 98 body upgrade. So while the power plant of the bike is in fact a 97, its registered with the DMV as a 94. Not sure how they do it in your state but in Indiana that saves some money on tags. The bike runs great and starts right up. I flew down to GA to buy the bike and rode it back 800 miles without one bit of trouble from the bike. I was going to use the bike for racing but have only used it for a daily commuter as it gets much better gas mileage than my truck. The bikes ODO only shows 9970 miles but it was unhooked for some time when the body/speedo upgrade got done. I'm unsure how many miles are actually on the bike. I just changed the oil with Mobil 1 full synthetic about 500 miles ago. There is a small scratch on the bottom of the left fairing from the previous owner dropping the bike. It also put small scratches on the stator cover.. Aside from that I'm unaware of any damage to the bike. Anyone who knows RevRR, this use to be his bike Gorilla Alarm with two key fobs Brand new rear tire to go with the bike. Not even installed right now. Modifications to the bike Looks Modifications Polished Frame/sub frame Airtech Street Body upgrade (1998) Polished Swingarm Polished outer of the Rims, Centers painted to match body Polished Bar Ends Polished Heal Guards Blue LED Lights along the frame/Swingarm (see pic, not great quality but you get the idea. 110% pointless but its fun on bike nights.) Custom Paint Rear Fender Eliminator Zero Gravity Double Bubble Windscreen Blue Thirdeye Light (above Headlights) Lowered 1" Flush mount Front Turn Signals Integrated rear turn signals/tail light Engine Modifications Full Micron Racing Exhaust (scratches on the can) Speedo Healer V4 with high speed recall button -1 Front +1 Rear Gearing DID 525 Chain Steel Braided Front Brake Lines Port and Polished Heads Factory brand Jet Kit with Airbox Modification K&N Air Filter Back cut Gear Dogs to ensure a positive shift into each gear. I'll be happy to try to get some better pics of any part you would like to see. Bike is also for sale on Ebay and the reserve is set at $3500 based on the going price of similar year/make/model bikes but if someone here wanted to make an offer for a little less I'd let her go to you guys without reaching that mark. I love the bike and hate to see it go but was recently diagnosed with some pretty serious shit thats going to be bringin in major hospital bills ![]()
