Thread: 2003 Honda RC51 For Sale

2003 Honda RC51 for sale. 11,600 miles. Rebuilt title.
I purchased this bike in June of 2007, mileage 8703. It was not in good condition. I tore down the entire engine, inspected and miked all wear surfaces, and replaced anything out of spec. New parts include: Piston rings, valve seals, all gaskets and seals, clutch plates, misc trans bearings. The valves were hand lapped in.
The frame and swing arm were stripped and powder coated matte black. All swing arm bearings and steering head bearing are new. Wheels were stripped and powder coated gloss black. New wheel bearings and seals installed. New brake pads, SS braided brake lines, swing arm spools, K&N air filters, battery, chain, and spark plugs were installed at that time. The forks and shock on this bike came off another RC with less than 2K miles on it.
The bike has a Hyper Pro steering damper installed, M4 titanium exhaust, 15/42 gearing, an undertail kit, and Pirelli Diablo Corsa III tires in very good cond. Flapper, PAIR valve, soft rev limiter, and "Nicky" mods have all been completed.
The plastics are stock. Tank has a small dent in RH upper corner, Black paint on front fairing around mounting bolt needs to be redone. The side fairings have been repainted with Honda red, need the decals to make it look factory.
She runs and rides perfect, no issues at all.
