    Z Custom Leather suit

I still have these and it's a shame someone else isn't putting them to use. They are custom fitted, but will fit a 6'2" to 6'5" rider that weighs between 175 and 210 pounds.

If interested, Z Custom (or Barnacle Bill or other competent leather craftsman) can alter them to fit. They have never been down and have been cleaned after every season they were in use. Full combo hard/soft protection and just about every option possible. This suit cost over 1800.00 new.

    Asking $450.00

Sounds like a bargain. Now, if I could just lose 40 pounds.

It's a shame to lose so much $ on them. You get new leathers or something?

I've got a friend who may be interested. I'll pass the link on to him. Any idea on how much it would cost to have these altered? My buddy is 6'7" and about 240lbs. I did send a message to Barnacle Bill on the Wera board.

Barnacle Bill would be the most cost effective and he does excellent work. I couldn't guess what he would charge, but you could get in touch with him and see what he has to say.

6'7" may be a stretch though (no pun intended). I would imagine his wrists are bigger than my shoulders (although I was 6'5" and around 175 or so when they made the suit and I had it made for a loose fit).

I'll get back with you Abtech. Sorry about what you are going through. Tell me, (I've read a few of your posts but I can't recall specific details) was it track injuries that led you to this point? Better to be safe than sorry.

Track injuries, age and general debauchery (not necessarily in that order).

The exact cause of the back issue is 3 highsides that all broke my tailbone over a 25 year period along with a few other "minor" getoffs . . . The bottom of my spine got so hammered that L1 through L5 aren't discernable in either an X-Ray or MRI and I think it's fragments of L3 and L4 that are all the way through the spinal cord sheath.

Holy smokes! I'll remember that when I think about pushing my limits. You will still be there in June to offer insight though right?

For most.... I cannot seem to get him beyond shaking his head Well except one time when I did get a complement just after he was ready to chew me out (thought I was pulling a Beavis on DEPO rather than trying to keep it out of the grass)
