I want additional funding for my motard project so here it is.
9,200ish miles, still riding it daily when the weather is nice. Excellent condition, very pampered. I bought this bike with only 691 miles on it so I've had it basically since new. Completely stock except for Galfer braided stainless brake lines and Carbonne Lorraine brake pads, huge improvement over stock stopping power. Fresh Motul 5.1 fluid. Needs nothing. New Dunlop D208 tires, 1 week old battery, 1 week old coolant (Pro Honda HP coolant), fresh oil. Has been in a garage its entire life. I've only had it on the track one time (way fun, even at my slow pace). Includes matching tankbag. Clean, clear title in hand. I can also email additional pics, let me know what you want to see. Willing to deliver within 250ish miles for just the cost of my gas money.
Price reduced to $4250

...dude you ride an offroad bike with slicks, 1/2 the weight of a GS, double the suspension, with a browning 50 cal going off 32" from your skull as a daily freaking driver - I'd expect anything except a nitro dragbike to be bland by comparison - SSG

Bump and price reduction. I originally had it at $4750 hoping that someone would offer me $4250 for it. I'll just set it at $4250 and say "price is firm."

There's a guy at supermotojunkies who's stolen your handle and your add.
Just wanted to let you know.
Bump.
Thanks, I'm going to mess him up! Oh wait, it's me...

So the plan is to only have a motard? No street bike? How will you manage?
I don't think it will be that bad since 160 doesn't mean anything to me.
I want more fun with everyday riding and I just have an itch that I need to scratch right now and I found a once in a lifetime "donor" bike for the motard project. I couldn't go fully with just the motard for a long period of time since the wife and I both enjoy long rides through the countryside but for now it will work. The current "deal" with the wife is that I get a new 848 (or similar if I change my mind by then) when I graduate in May of '10. Shortly after that I'm sure I'll end up with a VFR. The motard is just a phase for now.
Now with that said, due to the arrival of the baby and my wifes decision to quit work, the money from the F4i sale will go to pay off the rest of our car loan. That will eliminate the last bit of our debt and make it easier to live on just student loans and welfare. The motard will probably just be a street legal dirt bike for awhile.

Ok, makes sense then... well except for the non-desire to hit 160 on the straight.

I'm trying to convince a friend to buy it. He's gotta save up a little more money now though cause he just bought a house. maybe if you still have it in the spring he might be able to swing it.

Just let me know, hopefully it will be gone by then but who knows.
I'll also include the cover that's on it, the battery tender, two magnetic tank-bags, and a copy of the factory service manual. The original tool-kit and owners manual are still present as well.

I will be sure to keep him informed.

Just finished loading it into the back of his truck and the cas has exchanged hands. I knew that the first person to see it in person would take it home and that's what happened.
Thread can be closed if desired.
