Man, you aren't kidding. That is a hell of a price, I am shocked I still have it.

Age of bike + rider = 78 !!
Here's a semi serious theory: (ahem)
MV owners are the most prolific posers in the sportbike world. They are therefore uncomfortable with the real-world use your bodywork shows, as well as the fact that it is in the wrong color, so their Robb Report-reading buddies may not recognize they have an exclusive bike. They might mistake it for a Suzuki or something because it's not red and silver.
I might also suggest that that group of owners is less likely to be able to fix the thing up themselves. Especially if welding is involved...
So, F 'em if they can't take a joke. Keep it and thrash it on the track like you would any other sub-10G bike. You'd kick yourself in a year if you saw it at Starbux with 35 more miles on it than it has today.

Thank you Brooklyn!!

But 10Gs in the pocket is still 10Gs in the pocket, 35 miles or not.

Judging by the watch threads, or the "look at my new F430" threads that pop up on that board, and then are sold a few months later, you're probably right.
It's too bad, it really is a fantastic motorcycle functionally.
"Her" and I were chatting over coffee last night and I was saying maybe I just need to paint those fairings and make it perfect...and then raise the price to $13k to keep away the bottom feeders. I suck at selling stuff...

When I buy vehicles, I tend to keep them a long time, arguably longer than I should at times, so when they're finally gone it's never bothered me. I'm more bothered I turned down 10 grand for this bike a couple months ago...but oh well. This thing has its second dead new battery from disuse. My damn racebikes never went flat in the past...

Do too.

Therefore, your asking price is too low.
Bring the bike to the IndyGP, drop it lightly on the infield during the parade lap and post it up as lightly scuffed at Indy during MotoGP. Then raise the price to $15k and it'll sell in a week.

Those clocks on the MV's must have one hell of a draw when the bike is off. Her Brutale will be dead in a matter of weeks if the battery tender is not on it.
