    Thermosman Suspension

Mike Fitzgerald is known in the motorcycle community as one of the best. Why? Because he is. Mike has done work for club racers and also does work for many on the AMA starting grids. He travels alot and does testing with many organizations including tire testing. You can call Mike with a set up issue and he will usually have an answer immediately, even when he is busy on the road as he works mainly from his cell phone. He done my front forks and done a great job at a fair price. I contacted him about Rich's bike a few month ago to see if he could help with the repair of the damage to the forks, Mike did not have any parts for that particular bike but agreed to do the work. I found the parts for the forks and received them Monday, I contacted him today about it to see what it would cost to have him install the parts........$0.00 will be the cost. If you already have a suspension guy who does your work, by all means stay with whom you are happy with. But if you ever have the need to check around, Mike is a great guy who knows what he is doing.

He's the best hands down. It would take a hell of a lot for me to send my stuff to anyone else.

Agreed. He's done work for me in the past and while he's very busy, he still does good work.

That's great! It's always good to have negative feedback and know where not to go, but always better to have the positive one

Thanks to both of you for this!

yep, $20 at jennings and he tweaked my suspension for 2 straight days on my 600RR. Good guy, hardworker. Kinda like Dwight Shrute.

For those of you that are needing suspension work, call Mike. I was in the market for a rear shock, I called Mike to ask him some questions about some used shocks I had been seeing online. Long story short, I ended up getting a "New" shock cheaper than I was looking to spend on a used one.......not counting the cost of setting it up for my bike and my weight.

He is at Ohlins USA now. Doing very well, said he is "taking over" with a small laugh.

Does anyone know if he has moved? Used to be in Atlanta area but his address shows as Hendersonville NC now. Just curious as I am fixing to call him for the RC and if he is still in Atlanta might go over but if he has moved ship. (yes I could ask him when I call but am trying to minimize questions as he already thinks me crazy from previous conversations)

His website shows the NC address so my guess is that's a safe bet.

See the post above yours, from Hammer. He's in Hendersonville, where Ohlins USA is.

I called there 4x last year to get some work done on my R/T forks and also my shock, no one would ever call me back.

Dan Kyle answered the phone and got my money, AGAIN!

His shop is in NC now. He used to work out of his trailer only. I was going to get a price for a rear on my RR also but he did not have a price handy. I forgot to get an email address figuring it would be on his site

he's not exactly a web guy. nothing really on his site other than his logo, phone number and address. he's a phone guy, call him again and give him your number for him to call back when he has a price.

Talk to someone? On the phone?

    That's dirty.

So did you forget to ask him or did you figure his e-mail would be on his site? I think they're not compatible with each other.

He said I could get a link email and I thought his 'website' had the address. I am working on a headache that is on day two and my eyes hurt so logic is fading Hopefully I can convince the Sca that there will be no wrestling or herding tonight

I stopped doing that in '99 thanks to Al Gore's prior works, and I have no intent on starting up again.

I've talked to him a few times and agree. Very knowledgeable and helpful.. even when he knew I didn't have money to spend. When the time comes.. he'll be the guy I call.
