CalSportbike/Kneedraggers Review

This happened earlier this year, but the service I've received from both of these places continues to impress me and is worth posting again:

I called CalSportBike after [unnamed online store] informed me that my backordered Joe Rocket suit would not be shipped until 26-27 FEB. (I have a track day on 10 FEB.) Todd answered the phone himself and even though he didn't have to, he directed me to Kneedraggers (shipping speed is paramount and Kneedraggers is closer) even though he could have duped me into crazy overnight shipping costs.

I called Kneedraggers and after being put on hold, was told the supplier may have one on the floor and they would call me back. 5 minutes later, they called back that it was being held for me. (This supplier is the same supplier for the unnamed online store that told me I couldn't get the suit until the end of FEB. I placed my order with a $10 expedited shipping fee.

These was two outstanding examples of customer support and both Todd/CalSportBike and Kneedraggers helped to make sure my next trackday will happen. Thanks.

Another positive plug for Cal-Sportbike here. Last summer I had my helmet ruined in a flood two days before leaving for the annual Grattan event. I called Cal-Sportbike to buy a replacement at 5:00 pm and it was at my door by 9:00 am the next morning. Best part was the price...it was still cheaper than the local dealer!

Another plug for Todd and all the CalSportbike staff. Great service, great prices, and about the best ride to a motorcycle shop anywhere!

to cal-sportbike. never had a problem when ordering from them.

just ordered some stuff from kneedraggers (well my mom did for christmas presents). they were very quick to answer my question before ordering and then emailed right after saying one thing was on backorder and asked if I could wait or if I wanted something else. not really gonna need a back protector while looking at the shed with the bike inside so I can wait.

Re: CalSportbike/Kneedraggers Review

I have been very happy with Cal_Sportbike, they have really gone the extra mile to make sure I get stuff in time for track days, and that I get the right thing.

Kneedraggers is on my approved vendor list, as is Street and Comp - but Todd gets first crack, especially as he stepped up as our first sponsor here.

Another positive plug for Kneedraggers here. I purchased a few items from them a couple of months ago and one of them was shipped to the wrong address (and now is out in the ether). This was no fault of Kneedraggers and it turns out that their supplier shipped it to an old address they had on file under my name, rather than the one provided to them by Kneedraggers. The guys at Kneedraggers were very helpful and stayed "on the ball" until my problem was resolved. They are a great group of people!

I've received great service and quick delivery time when I've ordered from Cal-Sportbike, and would use again.

Re: CalSportbike/Kneedraggers Review

I've always been a fan of Cal-sportbike. I have also purchased from Knee Draggers, but for ME - living in CA - shipping takes a while. I usually look for parts and accessories within my own state or a state close to Ca. I'm an impatient person.....

I have ordered from both in the past. What I was astounded with is the speed that stuff arrived from CalSportbike. I know I am close by but speedy delivery also includes packing and shipping. Its nice to support a vendor that supports the forums.

Todd just called me.

I went on CalSportbike's site and ordered a new chain and sprockets last night for MrsSeamus' SV and he called to tell me that the chain I ordered was way more than I needed for the bike, recommended a cheaper but more durable chain/sprocket (VM vs ERV chain) and, once again, proved that he is a true professional in this business.

I can't get that kind of service from my local places much less an online shop.

I had to login from work and pass this info on. That's how much I'm continually impressed with his service.

That's all from me. Back to my dark room.

Agree heartily. Todd helped me piece together a brake line setup when I cobbled radial calipers onto my 999. He was patient and reasonably priced.

Todd and Kim are both great to deal with. They helped me out with my chain/sprockets last year.

The Kneedraggers facility is just up the road from me (well, about 15 miles, but close)!

I've been in there occasionally; they're all good people. Definitely recommended.
