bridgestone bt002 st tires

Does anybody have any experience with these new tires? I got a set by accident and am not sure if I want to try them on my 04 r1 for the track. from what I hear they are a street/track tire. I have been running dunlop 208 race tires and wonder how these would compare.

Re: bridgestone bt002 st tires

I've never run them, but my racing buddy has. He liked them a lot, but not as much as the Michelin's he's been running. I think the only reason he stopped running them is b/c they were so tall he had clearance issues w/ his bodywork in the front.

Any idea on pressures? I got some advice from a good source but it sounds high (34ish)

Oops for track use not road use.

Don (Bikeoholic) is a distributor, and has used those on the track. Use his recommendation as a starting point, or call Bridgestone directly.
