Strapless Transport Stands
I bought a Strapless Transport Stand and finally had a chance to install it. It's a pretty simple concept that lets you transport your bike without the need of tiedowns, Canyon Dancers, or chocks. The stand is removable and installation was a breeze. To load your bike, you install the support rod through the hollow axle, and back the bike onto the stand. There a two locking bars that fit down over the rod and keep the bike secured. The setup isn't cheap, but the ease of loading and transporting my bike makes it worth every penny...

Re: Strapless Transport Stands
Yeah, but I'll figure it out. Just wanted to know how close I can mount the bike to the wall.....

Re: Strapless Transport Stands
Got ya' covered. The stand is mounted 7" from the wall which leaves 2-1/2" clearance from the wall to the bar end and clutch/brake lever.
You'll have to do the metric conversion...

Re: Strapless Transport Stands
They normally sell for $279 but I bought two and got a discount. Pricey, but it sure beats hassling with tiedowns after a long day at the track.

Re: Strapless Transport Stands
That's not really too expensive. A Baxley trailer chock sells for $295 and doesn't look as nice as that one.

Re: Strapless Transport Stands
Nice installation job.
I loved mine so much I bought two! The best thing is being able to move around in the trailer with the bike(s) loaded. |

Re: Strapless Transport Stands
What makes it even cleaner is that I put brand new carpet in the trailer this afternoon. The bracket are the same thickness as the carpet, so when the support is not there everything is flush
