Prayers needed again

My sister's best friend has three beautiful daughters and is pregnant with number 4. Saturday evening her one-year-old, Lola, had a low fever. Assuming it was from teething, Vanessa gave Lola a little Tylenol. About three hours later she went in to check on Lola and she was dead. My worst nightmare is now their reality. PLEASE keep this family in your prayers. Their names are Caleb and Vanessa and the daughters are Olivia and Salma. Thanks...

Re: Prayers needed again

Thank you, everybody. I have known Vanessa since I was 7. She has a very strong Christian family, so hopefully they are getting a small amount of comfort knowing Lola is God's newest little angel and that she'll never again experience pain, will never know heartache or disease.... my heart is broken.

This breaks my heart to hear about this. Their family will be in our prayers and thoughts. I can't even imagine their pain, as a father of three this is a nightmare of the worst kind.

They're doing the autopsy now, I believe. I'll post up as soon as I hear. I guess if they don't find anything they'll call it toddler SIDS.

That's terrible. I'm certainly not an expert on SIDS but the fever certainly would seem to indicate something being amiss. Please send our condolences.

Oh snap, that is horrible. I don't any kids of my own, but I love children dearly, this is the worst nightmare ever!!

Prayers sent. We may never know why God allows such tragedies, but we know that He at least is with us in our great trials.

This is very in the now. My twins are both teething like mad and we are constantly giving them motrin or whatever, never thinking anything like this can actually happen. I hope that this isn't the case, but you never know.

Again.... My heart is heavy for this little angel and I'll continue to pray for the family

Re: Prayers needed again

Prayers sent from my family...the pain that they are going through is not mesurable by our standards. I lost my first child to still birth wife was 8.5 month pregnant at the time. The pain we went through is something i wouldn't want anyone else to go through. I'm truly sorry for their loss.
