The sun set a little lower today...

...but Heaven is shining brighter with the passing of my Dad today. The man known as Pops to his children, Boppa to his grandchildren, and Red to his friends will be missed by so many.

Someday we'll meet again, Pops...until then, rest in peace.

Gosh, Peter, I'm sure sorry to hear this. But I know that he continues to live on in God's love and care, as do you and your family. May God's love comfort you, now and forever.

Sorry Peter. Nice to hear someone speak so highly about their dad. Mine will be 56 on Saturday.

Re: The sun set a little lower today...

I am sorry to hear of your Dad's passing, my friend. It is never easy when our parents die.

From your brief description of how he was refered to, I would say he must have done a good job in the things that matter most. He is now recieving his reward in a place beyond our wildest imaginations!

God be with you Peter, and all that knew your Dad. You are all in my prayers.

The sun set a little lower today...

What a beautiful way to tell us of his passing! However, do not forget the sun shone a bit brighter for not only you and his family, but for everyone he met before passing.

Godspeed, and condolences from all of us.
