Please Pray

My wife has fought a hard battle with cancer the last six years.
I am not going into details here, but it is a miracle she is alive. And that no one is able to detect any cancer in her body now. And we do thank God!
The issue she is dealing with now is the damage to her organs from the cancer and treatment. Her liver, spleen, pancreas, gall bladder, kidneys, and lungs all have been compromised. Probably more, I don't think there is any way to tell for sure.
Sometimes she has little or no symptoms for a long time, and then there are times it seems like they all act up at once or in succession, the last 4-5 months have been bad.
We see a variety of Doctors, and she seems to be making progress in the big picture. It is just very frustrating for her to be sick so much.
Please pray that she overcomes this.
Plus we have a bunch of other issues with my mother and other family that don't need to be addressed here, but still need attention when we are least able to give it.
Thanks,
Dale

Prayers sent for your wife and your family. Keep a positive attitude and remember He is in control ... even if we don't understand or like it. May God bless.

Isa 58:11
And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

Rom 8:31
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

May God's love bless your wife, and provide healing. With God, all things are indeed possible.

Re: Please Pray

Thanks to all Your encouragement means more than you know!

As implied and suspected, she is a fighter and very strong. I have never met anyone with the strength of character my wife has. I could not have gone through what she has. Not to mention kept the positive attitude and joyful demeanor. Makes it all the harder to see her laid low.

I have no doubt she will overcome.

Remind yourself you have had 2 more months. Certainly something to be thankful for even in hard times.

Hope you get many more months and they are all easy and wonderful for you both

on that! Thanks to all for the prayers, thoughts and well wishes and encouragement.

I have been needing to update this, but it has been hard to do.

Things have changed for the worse here. About a week and half ago she started feeling much weaker and more pain. We had a CT scan done and some more blood work. The results were not good. CT shows a lot of cancer involvement in her liver, lungs, and some bone metastasis. The blood work shows tumor markers very high. This is after not being able to find anything cancer wise, and very low tumor markers in early Feb. Apparently the cancer has come back very aggressively.

Right now she is very weak. She is taking some things that may help, but it is hard because of stomach upset.

Please pray that she is able to take what benefits her.

On a positive note, we finally closed on the sale of land we have been waiting on, which is allowing me to spend my time caring for her.

Thanks again,
Dale
