    Is this the 2006 RCV?

    No.

Hayden said the bike is bigger and it was nice to actually fit on it. Honda is also doing away with some of the mass centralization, some of it. Apparently, the exhaust on the '07 bike wrapped around the engine and caused the engine to get a little too hot.

After looking at all the views of the bike I can currently find I have one question.
Where did the ram air intake go?

Maybe they set it up like the 04-07 CBR1000RR... Back behind the lower triple. The new Buell usese that design as well.

The rear hugger is also smaller - doesn't have the little wing on it anymore.

The higher res version of this pic would make it easier to tell, but I don't even see one of those.
There is a shaded spot in there, but it doesn't look like the old F3 duct that Honda revived for the 1000RR.

Take a look at this pic: Enlarged Photo // RoadracingWorld.com

It looks like there's a snorkel that drops down but it seems to be a very weird spot for ram air since it's not a (seemingly) direct path to the airbox.
