    I'm currently attending the MotoGP event in Indianapolis. We just found out that premium ticketholders are NOT allowed to leave and re-enter the facility, but 3day general admission ticketholders are allowed to do so.

    Why people who pay half as much for tickets are allowed this extra priviledge is beyond me. I spoke with Peggy Swalls (VP, Administration). She acknowledged that the ticket sales website did not clearly state this restriction, but was still not willing to do anything to properly remedy the situation.

    We've already come across a number of other fans who are similarly irate and stuck up sh@t creek without a paddle.

    Ridiculous...

    Alright, mark your calendars for August 30, 2009. Moto GP at Indy.

    Get your hotels now as this will suck - the NHRA Nationals are the same weekend at ORP right down the road from IMS.

    The organizer of the Aprilia group buy said the Speedway told him that he had to put down 10% of the total ticket cost within the next two weeks to reserve the same block as for the 2008 race.

    Bake - get busy, man! I'm jumping on board the MCAdx buy for 2009

    Luckily the NHRA US Nationals will be on September 2-7 in 2009, that's the weekend after MotoGP...

    Your advice on booking hotels early is still good though...

    Yep, September 29th is the cutoff for Group deposits....similar to Indy and Brickyard ticket policy...

    Gen Pop reserved tickets have never had a "Pass Out" feature at Indy...I don't see that likely to change in the future because it is impossible to control...

    That guy can email all he wants but it won't do him much good...or he can pony up for a credential...
