Sure, that was a little crude. But man do I respect that guy!

And you can tell he has some stipulations in his contracts to only speak nicely about Honda and his team ... but you can tell that there's something up there. He REALLY wanted to say a lot about both Honda and whatever he is thinking about '09. But really, I think he's just all out displeased with Repsol, Puig and HRC all around.
yep, damn good video. Suzi perry, the diane rehm of the motorcycle world.

I think it'll all come out eventually. Honda has repeatedly treated people like crap after delivering championships to them, to name a few: Rossi, Edwards and of course hayden. Having watched nicky ride for years and years, I really would like to see him alongside stoner. Similar riding styles and on a bike known for raw power...

Anyone listen to the soupcast and hear kevin cameron discussing spring valve vs air valve vs desmo valves? Fantastic listen, we need more of that!

What do you suppose the size of the intersection of sets for 1) motorcycle fanatics and 2) Diane Rehm listeners is?

I'm guessing it's pretty small.

I like Dianne!

But hearing Suzy report that Prickrosa has problems sharing the garage with 'that guy' makes me want to get a video of all his highsides and watch them over and over.. sock cutter.

So I may actually represent a smaller subset.

Yeah, when I posted it, I actually didn't think anyone would respond, Bravo!!

WUNC has her 2 hours a day from 10-12 but I haven't been in raleigh in a few months, so I get the podcasts and listen that way. Brilliant, absolutely brilliant, she always knows the questions to ask and the rebuttals to ask of those answers.

I got that in watching the suzi perry bit.

I thought it was a pretty astute comparison...would have never made that connection, but it's a ringer.

I enjoy listening to DR, but she occasionally gets off in left field to the point where I begin incoherently muttering about the abuse of my tax dollar while switching stations and banging on the dash. I guess that means she's either a whacko, or doing a great job....

Hmmm...maybe I'll have to try a podcast.

Must be a different Diane Rehm, because she drives me nuts... rambles on and on and on, makes me want to commit an act of defenestration on her.

And at least this Suzy is kinda hot and can kick the Pod in the balls a bit... I mean, come on guys!

Give the guy a break. Being around a nice guy that is generally upbeat and polite has to make maintaining the black cloud of glum hard to do.

Meh, I guess anybody in the pro world would do (apparently) better than poor old Marco on this Duck. Nevertheless, if it were my choice (and clearly it isn't) I prefer to see a Kentucky hayseed on that bastard!!!

As would I. I think the moto-press was a getting a little jumpy putting this out. And if you notice, it came from a guy on SPEED (aka, Nascrap channel), so I would be more inclined to listen to those on Soup or other better connected to MotoGP.

Ok, I'll play along. Then I'll ask this ... why would he say that when by all other accounts, the move points towards Hayden with a factory ride next year? Does he know something we don't?

Another boot drops... Melandri manager confirms '09 Ducati split. | MOTOGP News

Quote:
Marco Melandri's manager has confirmed that the Italian will not ride for Ducati next season and that next weekend's US Grand Prix might be his last on a Desmosedici.

"The contract that bound us to Ducati for 2009 has been resolved by mutual consent," Melandri's manager Alberto Vergani told the ANSA press agency.
Tough for Meandri, but good for Haystack...although it would appear that he is already paying the price for a mid-season signing. It's going to be a long grind to Valencia... ;(

Hayden might be better off just taking the rest of the season off, picking up a Desmo and doing trackdays every weekend.

The robot can develop his own bike for next year so it can be perfect.
