    Rossi's new leathers

Rossi's new leathers. Genuine LOL stuff.

Just in case you didn't know, it's the opening game of the Euro 2008 football tournament today.

PS Toseland 3rd in qualifying at the mo. Ten minutes to go !! Woo hoo. (it won't stay that way though)

Forgot to mention he's also got a new lid, very cool, and again football themed.

    Pics?
...dude you ride an offroad bike with slicks, 1/2 the weight of a GS, double the suspension, with a browning 50 cal going off 32" from your skull as a daily freaking driver - I'd expect anything except a nitro dragbike to be bland by comparison - SSG

Can't find any decent ones. You can see the leathers on crash.net but I think he only had the new lid today.

It's basically the Italian football kit design as worn by a very pink bloke, sort of a Englishman who has been out in the sun too long.

Blue shirt, white shorts, blue knee length socks, black football boots and very pink arms and thighs. Really funny. The lid is a football design, white with black panels.

I really like the way Rossi has fun with all this stuff. Refreshing to have a champion that doesn't take himself too seriously. (Don't tell Jose.)

    That is so cool.

I will agree with CBRVFR on that... it is sooo nice to find a champion having fun ... maybe one of the reason why he's doing so well

And I've heard it soooo many times, if you are not having fun, you are doing it for the wrong reason...

    For once you don't insult

Like Jordan, it will take years after he retires for many to appreciate the accomplishments.

Having fun, enjoying what you do has got to help with your racing, building confidence, going faster. Just ask Marco Melandri.

Interview with Colin Edwards last week he commented on how relaxed his team is. "No Japanese fellow telling me to try this or try that". Great trust in his team manager, working very well with his engineer and race crew. So he just gets on with his job of riding and is going pretty well.
