Mother ticketed for spanking her child

I don't know what happened here. You could certainly "spank" a child to the point of beating, and this lady doesn't seem to be the model parent to begin with. If there are 9 other people making noise about abuse and I'm the cop, I'd probably ticket too.

But I tell you what I have experience with. I've had a dog in the back of my pick up, properly, legally, tied in, and still the "it takes a village" crowd puts their nose in my business wanting to know why my dog isn't crated or in the cab. (I'm guessing these are the same assholes who walk their little angels off leash) I refuse to even acknowledge these types, and the look I give is the conversation, but she gets all worked up.

I cannot imagine what you'd hear for spanking a child in public nowadays.

Spank the kid. Then spank any passersby who sticks their nose where it doesn't belong. MYOFB.

No injuries, no bruises and nobody is talking about the kid walking into the street again afterwards. Sounds like successful parenting to me.
