I want to stand as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all the kinds of things you can't see from the center.

First true motorcycle I bought was a '75 Honda 400/Four Supersport. Owned several mini-bikes, couple 100cc enduros and dirtbikes, and a few go-karts prior to this one:
First streetbike was a 1990 Suzuki Katana (can-of-tuna) 600, in black. I was trying to be responsible, getting a 750 sized motorcycle I could go distance on, but with less HP. It worked well for the 25,000 and 4 years I had it ... then the 1994 VFR750, and I discovered what a real motorcycle really was
Earlier off road bikes were a 4hp mini-bike, a Kawasaki KE90, and a 1973 Husqvarna 360RT (stripped for dirt duty ... still have this one ... frame and tank are actually on display in the living room )
Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.

I was a major squid!! I think about how dumb I was at that age, it's a miracle I didn't die, or at least lose a lot of skin.
I'd like to think I was better, and I did wear a jacket, long pants and my cowboy boots, but in reality, with the quality of what I was wearing ... not so much better. I'm glad I survived to learn from my mistakes.

My first bike was a 1965 Honda 50. I think it was a CB-77? Don't remember. It had a broken kickstarter. I pushed that bike almost as much as I rode it! I beat that thing so bad I can't imagine why it held together!
My first bike with any power was a 1965 CB160. It would do 82 mph on the only paved road within my unlicensed reach. I learned a lot about power sliding riding that thing in the dirt.

I've been slowly regressing. First was a Y2K. After that a Busa then a GSXR1000. Then I moved down to the CBR900RR. At the end of my riding career I should be able to make it to a Honda Metropolitain.
In reality I started on a Suzuki RF600R. Then a Ducati 900SS. Since then I have had a series of CBR900RR's.
Mobilette Campera, late sixties or early seventies model. I'm not sure. 50cc. CVT. With working pedals for propulsion and to start it. It belonged to my grand father.

1981 Suzuki GS450L, with a Vetter Quicksilver fairing and a tail trunk. It was actually a pretty sweet deal, I bought it from a friend's mom with 878 miles on it for only $300 in 1986.
1992 FZR 600 R-the one with the pointy nose not the dual headlights-
That was my second bike!
