Ohlins shock rebuild, when to?
I slapped on a Ohlins rear shock on my VFR last year. I recall the service interval being kinda short. It seems fine after 12k miles of street use. Should I ride it until something starts to complain or send it in for service while it still functions at 100%?

Thank you Brooklyn!!
Re: Ohlins shock rebuild, when to?
depends... On a VFR, it could have been a lot of straight up highway riding, in that case it's up to you. However, if there is a lot of backroad and/or trackdays thrown in there, I'd send it in if you had the notion... 12K miles of backroad and track action is a lot of damping motion. Worse than your shock though is probably your forks...
